Horses have been a thread in my life since childhood—but it took time, loss, and life experience to fully return to them.

After losing both of my parents, something shifted. Being around horses again brought me back to myself in a way nothing else could.

​

For 30 years, my husband and I built a business. In 2023, we sold it—and for the first time, I had the space to follow what had always been calling me.

​

Soon after, we found our home—5 acres, barns, and the space to begin again.

That’s how Spirit Walker Ranch came to life.

​

This rescue is intentionally small, focused on providing safe, attentive care to each horse that comes through.

 

But the vision is bigger—creating a network of small rescues working together to protect and advocate for horses across the U.S.

​

This isn’t just something I love.

It’s something I’ve been guided back to my entire life.
